Call before making an in-person visit if possible, and have the name, grave number, date of death and relevant documents ready. The administration handles short-notice changes, charges and binding decisions.
Funerals and meeting point
St Georg church is listed as the usual meeting point before a burial. A different location, such as the graveside, needs to be arranged in advance. The funeral team arrives only shortly before the appointment.
There is no funeral hall, mortuary, farewell room or toilet at the cemetery. Using St Georg church for a funeral also requires an arrangement with Heilig Blut parish, while the cemetery must be involved because a longer appointment slot may be necessary.
