Grave care by GraveStay

GraveStay can provide care once the grave can be located unambiguously. State Friedhof Bogenhausen, Bogenhauser Kirchplatz 1 and include any available grave reference or location details in the request.

Water points on the grounds

The interactive cemetery map shows two taps: one west of St Georg church and another in the northern section. Both are listed as water points for orientation, but neither is designated as drinking water.

Bring a suitable container and all tools needed for grave care. The available information lists neither a tool-lending point nor a toilet at the cemetery.

Prepare a maintenance visit

  1. Check the opening hours, especially the 17:00 closing time from September through March.
  2. Save the grave reference and PDF plan offline.
  3. Choose the Bogenhauser Kirchplatz or Neuberghauser Straße entrance.
  4. Keep to existing paths and give funerals priority.
  5. Dispose of plant waste and packaging only in the intended facilities.

Clarify rights and design rules

The cemetery includes church and municipal sections, and special eligibility rules apply when acquiring a grave. These facts do not establish the maintenance duties, planting rules or term for a particular plot.

Have the grave number, the holder’s name and relevant documents ready when contacting the cemetery administration. This portal does not accept orders; the request opens GraveStay’s external ordering process.

If you employ a professional service

Agree the work, frequency, planting, disposal, price and photographic records in writing. Also establish whether work at the particular grave requires permission from the rights holder or administration.
