Burial options at a glance

Three main groups are listed for Bogenhausen Cemetery:

  • earth graves for coffin burials,
  • urn graves set in the ground,
  • urn niches within designated walls.

The individual forms include earth graves in the first or later rows, wall graves, garden-maintained graves, urn earth graves in the first or later rows, urn wall graves and urn niches.

Rest period and right of use

The stated rest period is 15 years. This is not necessarily identical to the full term of a grave right. Extensions, charges, occupancy and specific dates must be clarified for the individual grave with the cemetery administration.

Special eligibility for acquiring a grave

Special conditions apply to obtaining a grave here. The cemetery is not a generally available area for unrestricted new grave purchases. Allocation depends on factors such as a current death, an available plot and the admission rules for this cemetery.

Before making plans, obtain clear information about:

  1. whether the requested grave type is currently available,
  2. whether the municipal or church section is responsible,
  3. applicable charges and terms,
  4. permitted occupancy,
  5. design requirements.

Location within the cemetery

The PDF cemetery map shows three burial fields and the urn walls. It is an orientation aid, not a list of availability or charges. Two urn walls also appear as precise points on the interactive map.
